DCM PEA 02® is an innovative biocontrol product formulated with carefully selected bacteriophages. These phages specifically target and eliminate the pathogen responsible for fire blight in apple and pear trees. Thanks to this unique action that targets the bacterium itself, PEA-02 provides significant added value within an integrated fire blight control strategy. Its high level of specificity ensures that beneficial soil organisms and insects remain unharmed. Furthermore, because bacteriophages do not survive long without a host, there is no risk of residues.
