Why use DCM MIX 2 MINIGRAN® for indoor crops?
Many cut flowers and cut foliage crops are grown under protected conditions, either to advance the production of specific species or to ensure year-round production of a consistent quality. Crops such as chrysanthemum, lisianthus, peony, amaryllis and sweet William are commonly grown under glass.
As the climate in protected cultivation differs significantly from that of outdoor production, fertilisers may behave differently. Factors such as temperature and moisture levels play a crucial role and require a thorough understanding of a fertiliser’s nutrient release pattern.
Specifically for protected cultivation, DCM offers a wide range of (mineral-)organic fertilisers tailored to the nutritional requirements of these crops. By combining different raw materials, a consistent nutrient release is achieved over an extended period. The mineral fraction ensures a rapid start, while the combination of various organic raw materials provides long-lasting nutrition, typically for around 75 to 100 days.

DCM MIX 3 MINIGRAN®
When a nitrogen-rich formula is required, DCM MIX 3 MINIGRAN® is often the preferred choice for protected cultivation. Thanks to its NPK NPK 9-3-6 + 3 MgO formulation, with a greater emphasis on nitrogen, DCM MIX 3 generally provides a faster start and promotes increased stem elongation. Because of its balanced composition of raw materials and its high organic matter content, DCM MIX 3 also ensures high efficient nutrient use while reducing the risk of nutrient leaching.
