DCM HYDRO-GREEN® is an innovative solution that combines fertilisation and water management in single product: fewer operations, greater efficiency and improved support of the turf during drought.

Why DCM HYDRO-GREEN?

In a traditional approach to soil and water management, you need a separate liquid wetting agent in addition to a fertiliser. This requires two applications, which takes a lot of time and increases the risk of uneven distribution. With DCM HYDRO-GREEN®, you only need to enter the field once thanks to the small granules with a specially developed 2-in-1 formula. This compound organo-mineral fertiliser (NPK 9-3-12 + Fe + Si) contains an integrated wetting agent for turfgrass.

Clear benefits in practice

During periods of drought, turfgrass quickly loses its vitality. The soil also becomes water-repellent, which prevents water from reaching the root zone properly and leads to nutrient leaching. DCM HYDRO-GREEN® breaks this pattern. Thanks to the wetting agent that is specifically suitable for turfgrass, water will easily penetrate again to the roots, while the user-friendly MINIGRAN® granules ensure even nutrient distribution. Because this fertiliser is rich in organic matter, soil life is nourished, resulting in improved nutrient availability. The wetting agent can also help improve the turf's drought tolerance.

Are you dealing with slopes in your lawn, where water has difficulty reaching the roots because it flows downwards along the water-repellent surface? In this case, DCM HYDRO-GREEN® also offers a solution. The wetting agent contained in DCM HYDRO-GREEN® ensures good water penetration even at the top of the slope, allowing the roots to find enough water there.

How does DCM HYDRO-GREEN work?

Thanks to our in-house MINIGRAN® TECHNOLOGY, each granule of DCM HYDRO-GREEN® contains the same ingredients in the same proportions. The granules are very small, low in dust and suitable for almost any type of spreader (disc spreader, pendulum spreader, manual spreader...). They fall deep into the sward and are not picked up while mowing, which prevents wasting product. The mini granules contain directly absorbable nitrogen as well as organically bound nitrogen for a long-lasting effect of up to 100 days. Silicon from lava meal improves the availability of phosphorus in the soil. In this way, it strengthens the turfgrass against drought, heat and cold, and promotes a strong rooting system and healthy growth. The extra iron supports photosynthesis, resulting in a deep green turf. The product is also rich in potassium to further strengthen the turf.

Wetting agent

Thanks to the integrated wetting agent, both water infiltration and water distribution in the root zone are improved. The wetting agent has been thoroughly tested for use on turfgrass. It significantly reduces water repellency in a dried-out top layer, so that water does not remain on the surface but penetrates to the roots. Thanks to the combination with a wetting agent, nutrients are less likely to leach out, because the water spreads more evenly in the root zone instead of flowing away through random preferential pathways.
