DCM TURFORTE® IRON

Liquid iron fertiliser

  • specific iron source: rapidly absorbed and transported in the grass
  • fast acting for an intense green colour of the grass
  • additional iron source, with residual effect via the soil, absorbable even at high pH
  • safe to use: rich in iron but low risk of burning

  • Apply in the active growing season, when rapid greening is desired.
  • Preferably use preventively to prevent growth inhibition due to iron deficiency.
  • Preferably apply in the late afternoon or early evening, if possible on slightly moist lawn. Ideally, it should not rain within 4 hours after application. Do not apply in the blazing sun and at temperatures above 25 °C.
  • Shake the container well before use. Make the correct dilution with water and fertiliser.
  • Spray evenly over the lawn until it drops down from the leaves (drip-off).
  • The extent and speed of response depend on the needs of the grass species, the growth stage, the time and place of application, the climate conditions and the intensity of irrigation. Therefore, always carry out the first application with the lowest dose.
  • Can be included as a supplement in a fertilization schedule with DCM fertilisers in MINIGRAN®. Ask for our specific advice.

STANDARD DOSE: 7 – 10 L/ha - 17,5 – 25 mL/L

apply with at least 300 - 400 L water/ha on greens and tees, with at least 1000 L water/ha for sports turfs and lawns at least 1, preferably 5 applications with a 10 – 14 days interval

FAST GREENING: 40 – 60 L/ha - 40 – 60 mL/L

apply with at least 1000 L water/ha at least 1, preferably 3 applications, each time with a 10 days interval

  • 3% IRON (Fe) soluble in water, of which 2 % iron (Fe) complexed by citrate 1 % iron (Fe) DTPA chelated

  • foliar fertiliser with plant-specific iron (Fe) complex and seaweed extract
  • to prevent and remedy iron deficiency (symptoms: yellowing (chlorosis) of the youngest leaves, growth inhibition)
  • fast action for a homogenous, deep green colour of the grass: faster and better release of iron after spraying on the grass, better uptake throughout the grass thanks to the small size of the citrate molecule, faster translocation in the xylem and incorporation into the grass due to plant-specific iron complex, addition of urea for even better iron absorption (synergy)
  • with cold-pressed seaweed extract
  • extra source of iron, with residual effect via the soil, can be absorbed even at a higher pH-levels
  • stable and efficient action of the iron on the grass without precipitation in the tank
