Bigger lily bulbs, more and better planting material with DCM VIVISOL®

The organic soil improver DCM VIVISOL® MINIGRAN® creates the ideal conditions for a varied and active soil life on bulb fields. The combination of vegetable raw materials with Bacillus sp. stimulates soil life and makes the nutrients present more readily available to the flower bulbs. The result? The (hair-)roots of the planting material develop better and the bulbs grow more easily and remain healthy. DCM VIVISOL® MINIGRAN® can be used for both spring-flowering bulbs (tulips, hyacinths) and autumn-flowering bulbs (lily, calla).

Trial: DCM VIVISOL® applied when growing lily bulbs on sandy soil

The addition of DCM VIVISOL® MINIGRAN® when growing lily bulbs on sandy soils, between March and October, made it possible to obtain more planting material (young stems), (hair-)roots forming higher up the stem and more bulbs in a larger size.
