During the planting of hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) hedges on 9 April, DCM VIVIMUS® UNIVERSAL was incorporated into part of the planting trench. Adjacent sections were planted directly into the existing soil without soil improvement. This was followed by a prolonged dry period, during which both sections of the hedge received the same amount of water at regular intervals using sprinklers.
Right from the start, it was evident that the hornbeam planted with DCM VIVIMUS® established much better. After 3 months, on July 28, this part also showed significantly better leaf development.
