Best quality boxwood plants with one single application of DCM Xtra-MIX® 1
A trial was carried comparing coated chemical fertilisers, chemical fertilisers with nitrification inhibitor, and DCM Xtra-MIX® 1. At the end of the growing season, the boxwood shrubs fertilized with DCM Xtra-MIX® 1 showed greener foliage and more uniform growth. This result was obtained with one single fertilization. All plants fertilized with DCM Xtra-MIX® 1 could be sold (no loss).

Plants on average 6 % larger
Plants (Prunus) fertilized with DCM Xtra-MIX® 1 show higher total growth (more efficient use of the available nitrogen) and good quality plants (number of branches and green leaf colour). The duration of action of DCM Xtra-MIX® 1 is comparable to that of a CRF reference fertiliser (coated chemical fertiliser, 4 months). At the end of cultivation, significantly less mineral nitrogen remains in the soil in the DCM Xtra-MIX® 1 object, reducing the risk of nitrogen leaching during the winter.
