Why does MMO Hoogmade choose DCM?

Guus Meijer, chairman of the fields committee, has been using DCM fertilisers for the main an training fields for many years.

‘Together with DCM, we inspect the fields every year and draw up a fertilization schedule for the whole year. We have very good experiences with the combination of DCM VIVIFOS®, DCM VIVISOL® and DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW. Spring fertilization is carried out with DCM START and autumn fertilization with DCM GRASS-CARE. Our sports turf looks beautiful and is always playable.’

MMO Hoogmade likes using DCM products. Why is that?

‘The field is hardly damaged after the playing season, which makes overseeding unnecessary. We only carry out manual reseeding in the goal-mouth areas. We see that the roots grow up to 25 centimetres deep! All things considered, choosing the right fertilisers allows us to reduce our maintenance costs.’

• DCM START has been specially developed for grass sports fields and ensures rapid (re)growth in spring. It has a high nitrogen content and contains magnesium for a deep green lawn.
• DCM GRASS-CARE is an ideal autumn fertiliser for grass sports fields. It contains long-acting potassium, which is ideal for hardening off the turf in autumn and winter. The extra magnesium and iron ensure a deep green grass colour, even in winter.
