Frank Radder of Puur Aroma grows about 1 million organic aromatic plants in pots every year. “We also supply cut herbs, wild herbs and edible flowers, mainly to the professional catering industry. Moreover we offer various excursions and workshops on request. We are the southernmost producer in the Netherlands, situated at the highest point, e.g. 170 metres above NAP (Normaal Amsterdams Peil – Normal Amsterdam Level).

Why does Puur Aroma choose DCM?

“When we had the idea to switch from conventional cultivation of perennials to organic cultivation of aromatic plants, we logically ended up with DCM. In conventional growing we used coated mineral fertilisers as a basic fertiliser, which suited us well; we were planning to work in the same way for our organic crops. Internal trials carried out in aromatic plant cultivation showed that DCM performed very well.
