DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE: innovative organic gel fertiliser with biostimulant effect

DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE, NPK 9-0-5 is a fertiliser in gel formulation applicable through fertigation, based on amino acids of plant origin. DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE combines a high content of nitrogen (N) 9% of vegetable origin with 5% potassium (K2O) for a quick effect on the growth as well as on the colour of the plants.

Thanks to its low salt index, DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE has a mild effect on plant roots and can be used continously as well as periodically for adjustments during crop growth. DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE has a high purity and permanently stable composition. It is almost odourless. DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE contains no animal ingredients and is authorized for use in organic agriculture cf. Regulation (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2008 and amendments.

With biostimulant effect

DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE has a biostimulant effect due to the presence of amino acids of plant origin: more roots and better root development. A trial with lettuce seedlings shows that the use of DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE results in a root surface that is almost twice as large in comparison with mineral fertilisers with the same nutrient level. The enlarged root surface area improves nutrient uptake, which stimulates aboveground growth. This leads to stronger plants with increased tolerance to abiotic stress.

Biostimulant effect = better root development

DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE

Gel formulation applicable through fertigation

Thanks to its gel formulation, DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE is highly concentrated and allows easy dosing. The product is highly water-soluble and the stirred, diluted solution remains stable (no precipitation). The product can be mixed with other products such as magnesium sulphate and trace elements.

DCM VISCOTEC® BLUE can be easily applied with all types of fertigation systems (sprinkler systems, drip irrigation) for the cultivation of plants in pots, in mineral substrates (rock wool, perlite) and in the open air.
