Advice

DCM GAZON PUR® to tackle moss efficiently

Preventing or tackling moss growth are important aspects of proper lawn maintenance. To tackle moss effectively, it is important to understand its causes and address them at the source.

The main causes of moss in lawns are:

  • poor grass growth due to:

    • an incorrect soil pH

    • an inappropriate nutrient status

  • the presence of a suffocating thatch layer

  • excess moisture in the topsoil

  • an excessively high Ca/Mg ratio in the soil

  • insufficient light (schaded areas)

  • mowing too short

Solution:

DCM GAZON PUR®: fertiliser with indirect action against moss

2-in-1 product: fertiliser with an indirect action against moss via the roots. After about three weeks, the moss turns yellow and can be easily removed by raking or scarifying. Rich in potassium to strengthen the lawn against drought, frost and foot traffic.

Indirect action against moss

  • Unique moss control through root uptake

  • Moss turns yellow and brown

  • After three weeks, the moss can be raked out

  • Does not stain tiles or clothing
