DCM ROBOT-MIX, the fertiliser specifically designed for robot-mown lawns

DCM has developed a fertiliser specifically for lawns maintained with a robotic or mulching mower: DCM ROBOT-MIX lawn fertiliser. This fertiliser helps create a beautiful green lawn with less moss and less thatch build-up, allowing the turf to continue breathing properly.

When using a robotic or mulch mower, grass clippings are finely shredded at regularly redistributed across the lawn. These clippings are broken down by micro-organisms and converted into nutrients for the lawn. However, the nutrients released in this way are not sufficient to keep the lawn in top condition. In addition, the fine clippings can accelerate the formation of a suffocating thatch layer within the turf.

Compound organo-mineral fertiliser

DCM ROBOT-MIX is a compound organo-mineral fertiliser with lime and bacteria (NPK 8-3-18 + Ca + Mg + Fe). The combination of fertiliser and lime not only feeds the lawn but also gently reduces soil acidity, improving nutrient availability.

Significantly less thatch and moss

Trials have shown (see graph below) that fertilising with DCM ROBOT-MIX significantly reduces thatch accumulation in the turf. This fertiliser also has an indirect effect on moss. After applying DCM ROBOT-MIX, moss gradually turns yellow and can be easily removed by raking or scarifying.

Its high potassium content contributes to a strong, dense turf that is highly resistant to drought, treading and frost. A dense lawn also gives moss and weeds less opportunity to establish. In addition, this fertiliser contains magnesium and iron for a fresh, deep green lawn colour.

Innovative MINIGRAN^® TECHNOLOGY

The small MINIGRAN^® fertiliser granules have a homogeneous composition, produce very little dust and are up to 94 times smaller than conventional fertiliser granules. As a result, the minigranules penetrate deep into the turf and are not picked up during mowing. MINIGRAN^® granules are also easy to apply with most spreading and measuring devices. Their uniform distribution promotes even growth and a deep green lawn colour.

For the best results, apply DCM ROBOT-MIX in spring, summer and autumn. One 25 kg bag of DCM ROBOT-MIX is sufficient to fertilise up to 500 m².
