DCM INTRO® 2.0 for water management in turf areas

DCM INTRO® 2.0 is an innovative wetting agent specifically developed to help prevent and remedy drought stress in sports turf, golf courses and lawns in an organic and well-considered way.

The effectiveness of DCM INTRO® 2.0 lies in its composition, combining a hydrophobic (water-repellent) component and a hydrophilic (water-attracting) component. When applied, DCM INTRO® 2.0 coats water-repellent soil particles with an ultra-thin water-attracting layer, effectively breaking the soil’s water-repellent properties.

DCM INTRO® 2.0 ensures fast and uniform water penetration into the top layer of the soil, minimising losses through evaporation and runoff.

The product promotes both lateral and vertical water movement, allowing moisture to reach deeper soil layers instead of flowing through preferential pathways.

What results can be achieved?

Uniform growth and even turf colour: Grass roots gain access to more available water, resulting in uniform growth and a consistent, deep green colour.
Resilient turf management: DCM INTRO® 2.0 reduces growth stress and helps strengthen the turf, making it more resistant to wear and intensive use.
Less damage and faster recovery after drought stress: DCM INTRO® 2.0 improves water infiltration and water distribution throughout the soil profile. As a result, water remains available to the grass roots for longer. This supports the turf during dry periods and can contribute to recovery following drought stress.

When and how much should be used?

DCM INTRO® 2.0 can be applied both preventively and curatively to support turf during periods of drought stress. The product is suitable for use on turf and can be applied on sandy constructions as well as sloping sites.

Preventive – Helps prevent the effects of drought stress

Instructions for use

Take the required amount of water and, while stirring, add the correct amount of DCM INTRO® 2.0 until it is completely and evenly dissolved
Apply this solution evenly across the turf surface
Irrigate with at least 2 - 3 L of water/m² to wash the product off the leaf surface and ensure good soil contact
Repeat the treatment every 4-6 weeks
