DCM VIVIFOS® to improve rooting and initial growth

Phosphate is essential for good rooting and initial plant growth. However, soils and substrates do not always contain enough plant-available phosphorus at the start of cultivation. That’s why, in some cases, it may be useful to provide additional phosphorus, for example in early spring, when soil temperatures are low and the amount of phosphorus released by mineralization is insufficient. For this reason, DCM focuses on providing additional phosphorus just before or while planting, sowing, cutting or potting the new crop.

Combination of mineral and organic raw materials

DCM uses organic phosphorus derived from residual flows from the food industry. This is a highly effective source of phosphorus that acts gently and is almost insensitive to both high and low pH values. This makes DCM phosphate products suitable for a wide range of applications. By adding phosphorus exactly where the plants need it, just a few kilograms of product per hectare are enough to achieve a very high level of efficiency, which is interesting in the context of fertiliser application records.

The mineral raw materials are released right from the start. The various organic raw materials are transformed by microbial life, ensuring the continuous release of phosphorus and the formation of natural fulvic and humic acids. The result is rapid rooting and good initial growth.

DCM VIVIFOS NP 4-30 ensures:

  • A well-developed root system
  • Stronger plants
  • Better growth
  • Phosphate also remains available at higher pH (>6)
  • Less fixation and therefore better availability of phosphorus

This fertiliser is available in MINIGRAN®, DCM's easy-to-use organic mini-granules.
