Increased yield in organic potato cultivation with DCM ECOR® 1

DCM’s organic fertilisers only contain high-quality raw materials of plant and animal origin, suitable for use in organic agriculture. DCM ECOR® 1 is a fertiliser for organic agriculture, with a long and continuous action of 75 to 100 days.

Trial: DCM ECOR® 1 applied in the cultivation of organic potatoes

Supplementary fertilization with DCM ECOR® 1 with MINIGRAN^® Technology (NPK 9-5-3) (556 kg/ha = 50 kg N/ha) when growing organic consumption potatoes resulted in an additional yield of 3 tons/ha (+13 %). Increased nitrogen availability had already been measured during the trial, both during sampling in June and August. The foliage looked healthy and more vigorous at the end of July; whereas on the plot without DCM ECOR® 1, almost all the leaves had died by then. In the end, not only did the harvest turn out to be larger, without any loss of quality, but there was also a clear financial gain.
