Noticeably better initial growth of Carpinus betulus with DCM VIVIMUS®
When planting hedges, ensuring a good start is extra important. This was also clearly demonstrated in a practical trial.
When planting hornbeam Carpinus betulus on April 9, DCM VIVIMUS® was mixed into part of the planting trench. In the other part of the trench, hornbeams were planted directly into the existing soil. After planting, the hornbeams were exposed to a long period of drought, during which both parts of the hedge were regularly given the same amount of water.
It was immediately clear that the hornbeam planted with DCM VIVIMUS® got a much better start. After 3 months, on July 28, this part of the hedge also had significantly more leaves.
