Tree nursery Geert Coppens in the East Flemish town of Kalken was founded in 1994. Geert Coppens, who took over the company from his father, has an area of 10 ha at his disposal, of which 2 ha are container crops. The company markets a wide range of ornamental plants, hedge plants, conifers and roses, including the beautiful Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’ and Hibiscus ‘Belli Colori Azuri’ from the Best Select range. Geert had been looking for a more sustainable way of fertilizing his open-field crops for years and discovered row fertilization with DCM MIX 5 MINIGRAN® 2 years ago.
