DCM MIX 5 for long-lasting base fertilisation
DCM MIX 5 is an organo-mineral NPK 10-4-8 + 3 MgO fertiliser, formulated from a wide range of organic raw materials. These raw materials have different nutritional values and release patterns: the mineral fraction provides a rapid initial effect, while the organic fraction ensures along-lasting effect up to 100 days.
Plants fertilised with DCM MIX 5 show steady, continuous growth, without growth stops or growth peaks. Moreover, this fertiliser does not cause salt shocks. This ensures optimum production of strong, attractive plants. The formula is enriched with magnesium to ensure that plants develop and maintain a beautiful colour. DCM MIX 5 also contains 8% sulphur (SO3) and 5% calcium (CaO), contributing to good nitrogen efficiency and strong plants.
Soil and plant nutrition
In addition to organic carbon (C) as an energy source, nitrogen (N) is an important nutrient for soil life. This organic matter is converted by soil organisms into nutrients (mineral elements) and stable organic matter (humus).
The combination of organic matter and nitrogen in a DCM fertiliser stimulates soil life activity, in contrast to purely mineral fertilisation. Diverse and active soil life contributes to a better-balanced soil, benefiting the overall health and vigour of the plants. Under these conditions, roots develop better and crops grow more vigorously.
Proven reduction in nutrient leaching
Official trials have shown that DCM fertilisers leach up to 4 times less than 100% mineral fertilisers. As a result, fewer nutrients are lost and the leaching of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium into groundwater and surface water reduced. This increases the efficiency of the applied nutrients, supporting efficient crop management.
The right granule size for every application
DCM MIX 5 is available in a granule size tailored to each application: in pellet-form for open-field crops and in MINIGRAN® for row fertilisation.
Open field = broadcast
Row fertilisation = smaller dose and better distribution
